I can not believe some of these horses and ponies are still there. I worked there when Bess, Rocky and puffin were all babies. It is great to see them all looking so fantastic.

I loved riding Bess I only rode her once or twice but Sefton was my little man!!
Cannot believe she is still there!! She’s a gentle old lady.

well, it was so embarassing once when my horse riding buddy beth w rode bess and she was grooming ko-ko cuz she didnt no who bess was! lol xx

That is really sad i liked bess she would always nudge me with her nose when i was grooming another horse and i was near her.

when i first rode bess i was pretty scared but i got so used to her i didnt want to let her go… i go to the saturday pony club every two weeks and once when i went i rode her and ended up staying til ten past two becuase i was to busy mucking out her stable, grooming her, feeding her, taking her out to the field and loads more stuff!i would do anything for her to come back:(

same she is so gentle and loving, ill never forget how when i used to fill her haynet up and go to tie it up and she would never go for it as soon as stept into her stall, she was sooo patient!

Hello everyone, i am living a happy life here at my new home, hope everyone is ok! i have heard about wolfie and that is very upsetting but we all have to move on, hows deva? i remember every morning when i got bought into my stable, deva allways siad, “good morning bess, did you have a nice night” i would always reply the truth! mostly yesses, two or three no`s, but that was only when it was thundering,that spooken me a bit. i hope all is well and feeling good, i miss you all so,so,so,so,so,so,so,so,so much and many thanks to everyone!xx

Do Any of you know the whereabouts of Sefton? He should be in his 20’s now, he was at Newton Ferrers when I was there years ago!!
He is black, 14.2 -14.3 ish, stocky boy with a blaze on his face, very loving and good natured.
I have never forgotten that horse and its been years (at a guess since 1996-97) I used to ride him then and had him on a working loan for a while.
Any info on his whereabouts would be so greatly appreciated, please feel free to email me g_veale@hotmail.co.uk.

i cant tell you how much i love this place, this pace has made me pony mad for life,i have been going for three years now and i havent stopped, i go every two weeks on the saturday pony club and i love. i am working on my jumping at the moment i can go up to the jump fine but it is going over the jump, i can jump quit high but i struggle a bit, i dont know why.. if anyone has any tips for me and my jump please email me at : hannah.brace@hotmail.co.uk
